Explore the best of Cambodia by going on an adventurous road trip that will take you to floating villages, snorkeling, learning about Buddhism and more! During this road trip you will enjoy amazing activities such as partaking in social programs, staying in authentic rural villages, learning more about Buddhism, visiting Angkor Wat, witnessing the Khmer Rouge history in Phnom Penh, enjoying the beautiful beaches and the floating villages of Sihanoukville, snorkeling and more. This unique 30day adventure will enrich you and that will stay with you for a lifetime! This four week long road trip will show you the best this Southeast Asian country. Not only will you visit the wellknown places in Siem Reap, Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville that cannot be missed on a tour through Cambodia, but you will also experience the traditional culture of the countryside. Whilst visiting and participating in local community projects, sleeping in rural villages and coming into close contact with the locals, this will be a truly lifechanging experience that will bring you closer to the people and culture of Cambodia. The road trip consists of four weeks, each of which has a different theme and setting. Week 1: Culture Week – Week 2: Village Experience Get stuck into one of our rewarding projects, either social or farming based depending on the season. You will soon realize that you have nurtured a close bond with, and are a welcomed member of one particular family as you share meals with and assist them in their daily routine. You could help them to make chicken/duck huts, build fences, construct toilets, plant trees or repair damaged areas of their home and bathing spaces. What could be a more rewarding way to get to know and understand a culture than to live as a part of it? – Week 3: Central Cambodian Tour – Week 4: Beach Week in Sihanoukville. The aim of this program is to give participants as varied an experience as possible. You will be learning about the culture and the language, visiting varied sites and museums to enhance your historical knowledge, volunteering to give back to the community, immersing yourself into authentic communities and of course having a bit of time to relax and enjoy the beach and other beautiful surroundings.
