This is an Ecotourism travel project that lets you visit 4 distinct states in India in a month. Letting you experience everything from its amazing culture to its sublime cuisine by travelling through a cross section of this vast subcontinent. Keeping with the values of the Green Lion this program is environmentally friendly. The Road trip takes you all the way from the foothills of the Himalayas to the sandy beaches of Goa. You will see the magnificent Taj Mahal, visit the famous hot springs of Shimla, spend a night in a desert in Rajasthan, travel to the home of the Dalai Lama, trek through forests, ride camels, explore palaces, forts and temples and visit world heritage sites. The program also focuses on a variety of volunteer projects. You will have the opportunity to work alongside local people at our renovation projects at our community schools and also take part in environmental initiatives. The aim of this program is to bring you closer to the authentic India. Through different projects and activities, you will get to truly immerse yourself in the culture, customs and lifestyle.
It depends according to the location. 3 meals a day will be served.

Due to the length and active nature of this program, a decent level of fitness is required. Additional equipment: Shoes suitable for hiking, Some warm clothes for when you are in the northern, cooler parts of Himalayas, Beach wear, Backpack. Reception at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, you will then be escorted from the airport to the guest house in New Delhi where you will reside overnight. The drive from the airport to the guest house is approximately 45 minutes.
