TRAVAIL

This program is delicately designed by experts to give you the best of the experience Malaysia has to offer. You will be tasting the rich Malaysian cuisine, walk around the Kuching Town, go on a cycling tour and boat ride, learn local language and traditional cultures and customs, visit a beautiful beach and the local markets, and venture into a wildlife park and ancient caves. These activities are specially designed to acclimatize and given you an in-depth knowledge of this new country you have travelled into. These learnings will facilitate your project week wherein you will be interacting with local people and will make your stay in Malaysia a truly enhanced and a wonderful experience and treasure great memories. On your first week in Kuching, Sarawak is to introduce to Malaysia which is truly Asia. During this week our Aim and Objective is to get you immersed in Malayan culture and to also get you acclimatized to Malaysia.

LOGEMENT &NOURRITURE

Accommodation is a standard semi-detached house in a residential area called Kali Garden in Kuching. This is one of the typical homes. A small park behind the house is where residents jog and exercise. There is a Malay village and a fishing village within the vicinity. Our rooms allocate 4-8 people based on a single-gender basis and shared toilet with your roommates. We provide for 3 meals during weekday (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and 2 meals during the weekend (breakfast and dinner). Malaysian food is tasty and diverse and you can expect to experience a myriad of flavors and meals during their stay. Typical dishes include mee kok lo (noodles and vegetables either dry or soup), nasi goreng (fried rice and vegetables) or roti canai (is a type of Indian influenced flatbread found in Malaysia. Breakfasts are varied and and include toast, cereals, fresh fruit, etc. Tea, coffee and purified water is available at the house. We do not recommend that you drink water straight from the tap.

SITUATION

Sarawak makes access to Borneo’s natural wonders and cultural riches a breeze. Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, is simply unique. No other city in Malaysia has such a romantic and unlikely history, nor displays its charms with such an easy grace. Kuching goes about its own business in a relaxed manner that hasn’t changed in 160 years. Supermarket, Gymnasium, swimming pool, saloon, Laundromat, cinema, money exchange, ATM, sim card shop, and photocopy shops are all located within 2 kilometers radius.
