The aims is to provide education for over 300 students from 3-12 years of age. The private school has a kindergarten and a school where the children are taught subjects such as Math, Science, English, Social Studies, Physical Education, Music and Computation. Depending on your skills and desire, the volunteer can assist in many different classes, with the most need in English, art and music. You have also the possibility to work as assistance of the English teacher in the kindergarten. Minimum (weeks): 2 Maximum (weeks): 16 As the climate of Ecuador is unpredictable, you should bring both a rain coat and/or umbrella, and sun protection (sunscreen and a hat).

Voluntariado para la Ayuda Social del Ecuador – VASE, ICYE Ecuador. Founded in 2008 and registered as a cultural, non-profit, non-religious and non-governmental organization promoting intercultural education and international volunteer community service. The main office in the capital city Quito.

Programme
Most of the voluntary service placements include centres for with at-risk children, disabled, health centres and environmental programmes in disadvantaged communities.
