Fundacion VASE-ICYE Ecuador is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the social situation in Ecuador through volunteering. Main Activities: Coordination of incoming and outgoing short and long term volunteers (including seminars and cultural trips), host families, and social projects. There is a lot of flexibility based on the volunteer’s desires and interests. Will most likely work with the short-term program and seminars (orientation, mid term, final camp) and monitoring (project visits) for long term volunteers.

The office is located in downtown Quito.

BESOIN SPéCIAL

Need to have a good command of English and basic knowledge of Spanish. PC literacy (Word, Excel, Access), be diligent and reliable in your work, be willing to work overtime in peak seasons, showing the flexibility to travel abroad when needed, creativity and interest in international work – your ideas will always be welcome! – Minimum stay is 4 weeks, maxi 16 weeks. Fee of 370 € is for 4 weeks; each additional week is 65€. Project open all year, arrival date is free. Placement on this project is individual.

Voluntariado para la Ayuda Social del Ecuador – VASE, ICYE Ecuador. Founded in 2008 and registered as a cultural, non-profit, non-religious and non-governmental organization promoting intercultural education and international volunteer community service. The main office in the capital city Quito.

Programme
Most of the voluntary service placements include centres for with at-risk children, disabled, health centres and environmental programmes in disadvantaged communities.
