ICYE India Sneha Kiran Spastic Society of Mysore is an NGO providing specialized therapeutic and rehabilitation facilities for children affected with Cerebral Palsy, in the city of Mysore. This is the only center providing all the necessary services under one roof and having the support of dedicated medical and paramedical professionals. Children are provided physic, occupational and speech therapy, special education, need-based aids and appliances and counseling for the family.


They will be placed as assistance to the special educators and therapist. They can gradually be placed to manage the classes independently. Volunteers will have better opportunities to learn the rehabilitation process of special children, special education, physio-occupational therapy and speech therapy etc. Being with our professionals.


The volunteer will live at the project site or in host family her/his own room on sharing basis. Food will be Provided by the host placement or host family.


Activity centre is located in upper middleclass residential area in Mysore.. Even centre is located in a decent Industrial area. Centre give clean and hygiene atmosphere for working.


Special Educators Physiotherapist Occupational therapist or Speech Pathologist Kinder garden teacher (Female).

The ICYE programme started in India in 1983. Inter Cultural Dialogue &Exchange – India, (ICDE – India), founded in 2006 by a group of former ICYE volunteers is a secular organisation, with its main office in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Voluntary service host placements, mostly in Karnataka and adjacent South Indian states, include homes for street children, orphanages, disabled, old age homes, people with HIV/AIDS, health care, agriculture / farming, women’s projects, rural and community development, etc. ICYE India, upon request, offers opportunities to learn/study yoga, Indian music and Indian classical dance, music, herbal medicine, Indian philosophy, spirituality.
