Provides children in destitute living situations with a permanent home in a family living Main Activities · Offering Education activities eg reading ,writing, computer knowledge · Community outreach program and visits. · Gardening farming and poultry · Games and activities. · Develop good living conditions at the center. · Cooking and serving the children. · Improving children’s hygiene. SITUATION

KiyumbaKimu Children Village is an orphanage located in the rural areas of south/east Uganda 160km from Kampala city

Both male and female 18yrs-30yrs Work schedule: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday 35-40hrs per week

Uganda Volunteers for Peace (UVP) / ICYE Uganda was established in 1999. It is a non –political non-sectarian voluntary membership organization that joined the ICYE Federation in 2001. The office is located in Kampala.

Programme
Voluntary work placements are in field of social work, teaching children in school, care for needy / orphans, elderly, blind, children with HIV/AIDS and disabled.
