Z asbl, organizer of the festival Esperanzah!, aims at supervising, creating and organizing events or social and cultural activities in remarkable sites in order to promote cross-cultural openness : bring together cultures and generations, arts and traditions, colours and flavours from all over the world. Esperanzah! undertakes to develop a cultural approach in the French-speaking Community of Belgium and in the whole world, to support the diversity of forms of art and the activities of which fall within an intercultural approach. Through them, Esperanzah! wishes to show the world is a humongous mosaic made of men, women and children who want one simple thing : live in dignity and in respect of others ! Esperanzah! wants to gather thousands of people to a beautiful party, made for everyone, to change the world, and so that we together make it all come to fruition.


Volunteers will work from 9am to midday and from 1pm to 5pm. Your job is to keep the area clean and tidy. The team will collect and recycle the waste to give the festival-goers a nice and safe ground. Volunteers will also have to do physical work. You will also take part in the management of waste, and sensitizing the festival participant with the environment.


The volunteers will be placed in a building and will sleep in a dormitory. The kitchen, the shower and the toilets, will be to divide with another group (SCI). No washing machine. The volunteers will have 3 meals per day. Facilities for the vegetarians.


Abbaye de Floreffe. Floreffe is a city in the province of Namur in Belgium.


Profile of the volunteers: interest for the environmet, justified, knowing to speak a minimum French and English, flexible and available during the entire festival. Volunteers should bring a mattress and a sleeping bag.
