Volunteers will have food and hosting provided during the whole duration of the project. Volunteers participating in MTV projects will receive a training for intercultural learning and a Spanish course in the city of Morelia before starting the project in the project site, due to lack of communal resources for this camp we ask participants to contribute 200 Euro towards the costs of general administration. This fee hast to be pay upon arrival in Morelia city.

Exchange your culture and support to get skills, learn and improve the life of university students! If you have any ideas, experience, knowledge and interest in teaching English this project is for you! The aim of this project is to share the culture, language, promote intercultural exchange between Mexico and the world through various activities that allow volunteers to share and inspire university students to learn a second language.
The volunteers will be facilitators of workshops and language classes where they will teach young students: 1. To know common expressions and greetings in their language. 2. To help students to compose questions and answers of a basic conversation in another language. 3. To perform dynamics to exchange their culture among the participants. 4. To apply knowledge tests from the language courses. Volunteers also will encourage cultural exchange with students, through English speaking clubs. By participating in this project, you will acquire the global skills of Adaptability, Global Awareness, Strategic Thinking and Collaborative Planning, after the participation in the project volunteers will receive an official letter certifying these skills.
Volunteers will be hosted in a house of a local family with all the facilities: hot water, showers, kitchen, WIFI.
Zacapoaxtla is located in the northern part of the State of Puebla and it has 8062 inhabitants. Located 172 km from the capital of the state which is also called city of Puebla. The location is very close to wonderful places, you can visit archaeological sites such as Cuetzalan and Cantona as well as enjoy cultural diversity in museums and in magical villages and then ecotourism in marvelous caves and waterfalls, there will also be time to visit Puebla City, the capital of the state of Puebla and many more places. This program is open for young people who is interested to participate and enjoy a diverse range of activities, an active volunteers who enjoy sharing culture and making new friends! Volunteers must be motivated to be active and working indoors and outdoors.
Vive Mexico was officially established in March 1997 as a non-profit, non-governmental organization recognized by the Mexican laws and authorities as a volunteerâ€™s organization.
Founded in 1994 and legally constituted in 1997, Vive Mexico was born as an initiative of students from the Economics Faculty at the Michoacan University. It is the first organization legally constituted in Mexico and had became the biggest organization in Latin America dedicated to promote international co-operation and the development of the International Voluntary Service Activities.
Vive Mexico has great experience in the development of international voluntary service projects in Mexico and Latin America. It had been coordinating short, medium and long term projects since 1994 as well as special co-operations between Mexico and more than 45 countries of the world.
It had also coordinated a wide variety of seminars and congresses as well as leader trainings to help in the creation of international initiatives to promote the International Voluntary Service in Mexico and Latin America.
