The Green Lion

1) Slum Outreach program focuses on teaching underprivileged children from slums, whose parents cannot afford to send to school. The participants will interact with the children using games and activities to teach them, and help them understand the importance of academics and in developing other skills. 2) Women’s shelter project cares for women and young girls from broken families. It contains 10 children and 20 women on an average aged between 4 to 30 years old. You will teach the girls English in fun and interesting ways. They also play games to provide both physical exercise and relaxation as some of them have become demoralized and really relish spending time engaged in activities. The cultural exchange and interaction provides the girls/ women with much needed confidence and exposure. Please note that the women’s shelter project should be booked for a minimum period of 4 weeks. 3) Elders Care involves looking after 8 inmates of a local Old Age Home. All the inmates are above 50 years old and very warm and sweet people. They are funny and love spending time with you. The project aims to give the local communities a good education and basic knowledge of good health and care in order for them to gain a better and secure future.
