The Green Lion


This program is a great way for you to jump into Argentine culture while giving you an opportunity to learn about this country’s rich history. The week is a good chance to learn and understand local customs and phrases that will help you take full advantage of your time here, as well as being a good first step for your following programs. It is the perfect way to learn more about local people, culture, customs, language and so much more! You will be learning a lot about how important sport is in Argentina, especially football since Argentina has a world- famous football team with many famous football players! You will get a glimpse of this country’s interesting past by visiting historical sites, and get the chance to see more of the Argentine lifestyle. You will also be having culture, language, and cooking classes throughout the week!


About the Accommodation This bustling guesthouse accommodation in Buenos Aires is known as “Casa Pichincha”, which in Spanish means “home”. The accommodation comprises of mostly dorm rooms, and each room is equipped with lockers, drawers and shelves as well as lockable doors. All bathrooms are shared but split by gender. All communal areas of the facility are cleaned daily and bedding is washed once a week. The accommodation is very secure with security cams 24/7, lockable buildings and rooms and a night security guard. For your relaxation there is also a dining room and lounge, equipped with TV and Wi-Fi. There is also table tennis and a patio for barbeques. Food Arrangements Only breakfast is provided as part of our service every day, and there is a kitchen here for you to store and prepare your own food for any further meals. There are various local eateries you can enjoy too!

As a top tourist destination, known for its European style architecture and rich cultural life, Buenos Aires has the highest concentration of theatres in the world. On top of this, Buenos Aires has great places for everyone to practice any kind of sport. It also acts as host to a number of high level sporting events in football and hockey each year, because of its world class stadium facilities.
