Our project helps to relieve the local communities from some of the stress and pressure that they are living under. On this program, the participants will work under a local coordinator who provides guidance and training alongside local families. The project involves hard physical and manual labor, as you will be laying bricks, doing carpentry, painting, laying tiles, and landscaping/gardening. You can expect to be working around 6 hours a day. Through participating in this social project, you will make a difference to the local community by supporting local families and children and providing them with better living conditions. The other side of this project involves a more artistic and relaxed environment where participants are in charge of renovating and creating drawings, and painting in several kindergartens and primary schools around Suva and Narere. This activity is fun and we support your creativity during the process. It aims to build and renovate buildings that are essential for the growth and development of the local community.

Suva is located on the southeast coast of the island Vitti Levu. It is the capital of the country and the largest most cosmopolitan city of Fiji. Suva has an approximate amount of 86,000 inhabitants and works as a harbour city built on the peninsula. The city has a warm rainy tropical weather throughout the year, which keeps the flora fresh, and the temperature in beach-perfect scenery. This town represents the meaning of a multicultural country. It has so many combinations between European, Indian, Asian and Fijian that every single person seems as interesting as the next one. Make sure not to miss the Fiji Museum to learn more about how the beautiful Fiji came to be. The best part of this multicultural aspect is that you can find all Chinese, Indian and Italian cuisines in one place!
Due to the active nature of this program, a decent level of fitness is required.
