The schools and university support the students to create their confidence and maturity by doing interaction with French volunteers in order to get better understanding about different culture as well as knowing better French. Formal and non-formal French teaching; Entertainment activities for students; Education; introducing French culture &art


the accommodation and food will be provided by a local host family. The volunteer will stay in a host family or a dormitory (to be confirmed) and share the other facilities with other host family members. Facilities are simple and Indonesian style (no hot water, no internet, and no washing machine). As mentioned above the volunteer cannot be vegan or strict vegetarian, but flexible vegetarian is still welcomed.

The volunteer should speak French fluently. The volunteer should love to work with children and be open minded, mature, respectful of local customs, tolerant, creative, flexible, patient, confident and independent, especially in motivating the students to speak up and be active in practicing conversation. The volunteer cannot be vegan or strict vegetarian, but flexible vegetarian is still welcomed. Please accept our apology’s that we are not open for volunteers with mental disabilities and people with mobility and movement disability’s such as limitation on physical functioning, blindness, deft, epilepsy, sleep disorders etc. The volunteer cannot have any piercings on the face, no visible tattoos and should have common hair style(no colorful hair or dreadlocks) and a Certificate of Good Conduct from the police. The volunteer must never have been found guilty in a criminal case in the volunteer’s home country or in another country. It is strictly prohibited to possess narcotics, marijuana, opium, stimulants or other drugs. Duration Minimum (weeks):4 Maximum (weeks): 12 BESOIN SPéCIAL The volunteer should be able to speak French and English, has knowledge about French language &culture; Open-minded; Tolerant; Creative; Flexible; Patient; Respect the local customs and local’s rule; Sharing ; Special drive for adolescent and youngsters; Willing to accept basic living condition in the project site; Confidence. Minimum (weeks):4 Maximum (weeks): 12 What should bring: Light clothes, not too revealing. These are not appropriate while working in the school with children and for the small villages you will be visiting. For the school shirt and trousers are a must. Shoulders should be covered all the times. Shorts that are cut at the knee are acceptable only in the villages but not in schools. You also should wearing shoes during teaching activities in the classroom. Wearing sandals/slippers are considered impolite in the classroom. French teaching materials and some games. Mosquito repellant and a mosquito net – which can also be bought in Indonesia for 5 –10 Euros. Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Toiletries and towel. Medicines as you think necessary. Spending money for personal items. Optional (but welcome): Pictures of your family, friends and country to share with fellow volunteers and Indonesian people. Cooking recipes, some cooking material and other things to share your culture through food and drinks. Musical instruments and some traditional games from your country. Suggestion goods to bring along for locals : Books with that can be donated for the library. Traditional small souvenirs as gifts for local people and teachers.
