In recent year, Dejavato had had several programs both sending volunteer and hosting volunteer. They are International and bilateral workcamp, Mid and long term voluntary service, Europen Voluntary Service, Weltwearts &Civil Service, STePs, Indonesian Youth Volunteer Service (IYVS) and Dejavato Cares. Those programs are controlled under 4 staffs and assisted by several volunteers from many universities.
The accommodation and food will be provided by a local host family. The volunteer may have own or sharing room and the other facilities with other host family members. Facilities are simple and Indonesian style (no hot water, no washing machine). Simple basic Indonesian food, rice, tapioca/cassava, fish, vegetables, etc provided by the local hostfamily.

The volunteer is encouraged to be creative, flexible, patient and independent. The volunteer is also very welcome to create new idea in promoting Dejavato to Indonesian communities. What should bring: Shirt, shoulders should be covered all the times, long trousers or skirt until under knees, Shorts that are cut at the knee are acceptable only in the hostfamily. You also should wearing shoes during working. English teaching materials and some games. Mosquito repellant and a mosquito net – which can also be bought in Indonesia for 5 –10 Euros. Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Toiletries and towel. Medicines as you think necessary. Spending money for personal items. Optional (but welcome): Pictures of your family, friends and country to share with fellow volunteers and Indonesian people. Cooking recipes, some cooking material and other things to share your culture through food and drinks. Musical instruments and some traditional games from your country. Suggestion goods to bring along for locals Traditional small souvenirs as gifts for local people, staffs &host family.
