Casa de Asis, A.C works with helpless, defenceless girls from the city of Puebla who are divided into two groups according to their situations: Residents: these girls are brought into the children’s home as a result of an administrative incapacity to keep them in a governmental institution. Boarders: these girls are brought into the children’s home because their mothers work for long periods and they need to keep them in a safe place, away from dangerous situations. But most of the girls we work with come from other institutions. They have a difficult background and they need love and attention.
