Volunteers stay with the host family/hostel identified by VIN. The living conditions at the host family/ hostel are simple and basic. Inremote communities of Nepal, people even have not got chance to see computers. Havingcomputer skills is a far dream for the people there. NTCLC which is located in remote area,now is equipped with computers with internet available.As a computer lab instructor volunteer you will use the Community Learning Centre laptopsto facilitate computer classes to the public, especially women, youths and children. Ideallyvolunteers should have a passion for computers, teaching and good interpersonal skills.

TRAVAIL

Design and teach basic of computer science, how to use computer and Microsoft Office.Develop a long term need based course packages for those children and youth.Visit schools and community to raise awareness on the use of computer skills.Conduct need assessment on the use of computer skills for local people on their workpromotion.

For too long now Nepal seducational system has neglected the specialneeds of these people who end up dropping outof school due to the lack of attention to them. Itis an incredibly fulfilling experience to help thosethat need it most [Due to school holidays theseprojects willremain closed during the months January and sometimes in April, July and October.
